Increasingly complex projects and frequent requirement changes strained the client's QA processes. Three specific problems: manual testing overload (time- and effort-intensive, slowing development and hard to scale); limited CI/CD integration (pipelines not fully connected to testing tools, creating bottlenecks); and no strategic QA roadmap (making testing reactive rather than proactive). The client wanted to introduce test automation, simplified QA, and adopt a more flexible QA-as-a-Service (QAaaS) approach.
A collaborative, phased approach with three goals: automate testing (replace repetitive manual tasks with tools like Tricentis Tosca to save time and improve reliability); optimize QA processes (simplified workflows and integrate them with the client's existing systems); and introduce QA as a Service (flexible, remote support that scales with the client's evolving needs). Alongside this, the team delivered hands-on training so the client's staff could manage the new tools and processes independently.
