Faurecia equipped 7 vehicle types with real-time emissions-tracking sensors for Singapore's clean-air initiative

The challenge

Faurecia, a global automotive-technology leader with roughly a 25% share of the exhaust after-treatment market, partnered with Singapore's National Environment Agency to reduce transport emissions in the city-state, where growing concern over pollutant levels called for real-time emission monitoring across public-transport and delivery fleets. The project needed a secure cloud architecture giving multiple entities real-time access to sensitive vehicle and emissions data.

What Amaris did

Amaris sourced and procured vehicle spare parts, negotiated with outside vendors to secure competitive pricing through its internal procurement tool, and retrofitted vehicles (mechanical, electrical and electronic upgrades) across delivery, commercial and bus fleets. The team installed telematic sensors to capture real-time emissions and driving-behavior data, built a secure cloud architecture giving Faurecia, vehicle suppliers and the NEA real-time, access-controlled visibility, and provided ongoing fleet maintenance and predictive-system support.
